These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gossamer, an application developed and operated by Skadiworx (“Skadiworx,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating a Gossamer account or using Gossamer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the service.
1. About Gossamer
Gossamer is a private transition progress companion designed to allow users to record and review personal information such as photos, measurements, check-ins, milestones, and personal medication history.
Gossamer is designed as a personal recordkeeping and progress-tracking tool.
Gossamer tracks what happened. It does not tell you what should happen.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create a Gossamer account or use the service.
By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
If applicable law in your location requires additional consent or imposes a higher minimum age for use of services such as Gossamer, you are responsible for complying with those requirements.
3. Your Account
Some Gossamer features require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining control of your account credentials and for activity performed through your account.
You agree to provide accurate account information and not to impersonate another person, access another user's account without authorization, or deliberately interfere with Gossamer's authentication or security systems.

4. Your Information and Content
You retain ownership of information and content you enter or upload to Gossamer, including progress photos, measurements, milestones, check-ins, and other personal records.
You give Skadiworx permission to process, transmit, and store this information only as reasonably necessary to operate and provide Gossamer's features, including synchronization, storage, backup, restoration, and account functionality.
Your use of Gossamer does not transfer ownership of your personal Journey information to Skadiworx.

5. Privacy
Gossamer is designed around the principle:
Your transition isn't our data. It's yours.
Use of Gossamer is also governed by the Gossamer Privacy Policy, which describes the information Gossamer processes, how it is used, service providers involved in operating the application, security practices, and your deletion and privacy choices.
6. Gossamer Is Not Medical Advice
Gossamer is a personal progress-recording application.
Gossamer is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Gossamer does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medication dosing instructions, laboratory interpretation, or individualized medical advice.
Medication features are provided for personal recordkeeping and do not determine whether, when, or how you should take medication.
Information recorded or displayed by Gossamer should not be used as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional regarding medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, medication, or other healthcare decisions.
7. Measurements, Comparisons, and Estimates
Measurements, comparisons, calculated changes, bra-size estimates, Journey Day calculations, and similar information displayed by Gossamer are provided as organizational or informational tools.
Results may be affected by the accuracy and consistency of information entered by the user.
Any estimate provided by Gossamer should be treated as an estimate rather than a professional assessment or guaranteed result.
8. Acceptable Use
You may use Gossamer for lawful personal purposes.
You may not intentionally attempt to gain unauthorized access to Gossamer systems or another user's account, introduce malicious software, interfere with the operation or security of the service, circumvent access controls, use the service to violate applicable law, or use Gossamer in a way that materially harms the service or its users.
Skadiworx may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect Gossamer, its infrastructure, or its users.
9. Availability and Changes
We want Gossamer to remain available and reliable, but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed.
Features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, internet connectivity, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances outside Skadiworx's reasonable control.
Gossamer may be updated, modified, improved, or discontinued in whole or in part.
When practical, significant changes affecting users or their information will be communicated appropriately.
10. Backups and Data Loss
Gossamer may provide local storage, synchronization, export, or backup features.
Although reasonable measures are taken to protect user information, no electronic storage or synchronization system can guarantee against all data loss.
Users are encouraged to use available backup or export features for information they consider particularly important.
Skadiworx is not responsible for data loss resulting solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including device failure, deletion of local application data, loss of account access, unsupported modifications to the application, or failures of third-party infrastructure.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.
11. Account Deletion
You may delete your Gossamer account using the available account-deletion controls.
Account deletion is intended to remove the account and associated cloud information according to the procedures described in the Gossamer Privacy Policy.
Deleting locally stored information from one device is not necessarily the same as deleting your Gossamer account.
Account deletion information is also available through the Skadiworx website.
12. Intellectual Property
Gossamer itself—including its software, interface design, branding, graphics, logos, documentation, and other materials created by Skadiworx—is owned by or licensed to Skadiworx and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, sell, reverse engineer where prohibited by law, or represent Gossamer or Skadiworx branding as your own.
This section does not give Skadiworx ownership of your personal information, progress records, or photos.
13. Third-Party Services
Gossamer relies on third-party services to provide portions of its functionality, including services used for hosting, authentication, and cloud storage.
These services may occasionally experience outages, changes, or other disruptions outside Skadiworx's control.
Information about relevant service providers and data handling is provided in the Gossamer Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Gossamer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Skadiworx does not guarantee that Gossamer will always operate without interruption, error, or data loss, or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Skadiworx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from use of or inability to use Gossamer.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
16. Termination
You may stop using Gossamer at any time and may delete your account using the available deletion process.
Skadiworx may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, security threats, abuse of the service, or circumstances requiring discontinuation of the service.
Where reasonable and appropriate, users will be given notice before such action.
17. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may change as Gossamer develops.
The effective date and version will be updated when changes are made.
If a change materially affects your rights or responsibilities, Gossamer may require you to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use account-based features.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which Skadiworx operates, without overriding consumer protections or other rights that apply to you under mandatory local law.
