Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 28, 2026
Last Updated: August 28, 2026
Gossamer is developed and operated by Skadiworx. Gossamer is a private transition progress tracker designed to help users record and review changes over time through measurements, photos, check-ins, milestones, and personal medication records.
1. Information You Provide
Depending on the features you choose to use, Gossamer may process account information such as your email address and authentication identifiers; Journey information such as start dates, check-ins, milestones, and notes; measurements and weight; medication records such as medication names, dose information, dates, and optional injection-site information; and progress photos you choose to add.
You decide which features to use and what information to enter.
2. How Gossamer Uses Your Information
Information entered into Gossamer is used to provide the features you request, including maintaining your Journey, displaying changes over time, comparing measurements and photos, maintaining milestone and medication history, synchronizing supported Journey information between devices, and restoring supported information when you sign in.
Gossamer records what happened. It does not tell you what should happen.
3. Local and Cloud Storage
Gossamer uses a local-first approach. Information may initially be stored on the device or browser where you use Gossamer. If you create or sign into a Gossamer account and use synchronization features, supported Journey information may also be transmitted to and stored using Gossamer's cloud infrastructure so it can be restored or synchronized between your devices.
Progress photos may be stored in private, per-user cloud storage when photo synchronization is enabled.
4. Service Providers
Gossamer currently uses Supabase for account authentication and cloud storage and Vercel for application hosting and supporting infrastructure.
5. Selling and Advertising
Gossamer does not sell your transition information or progress records. Gossamer does not use your private Journey information to create advertising profiles.
6. Photos
Photos added to Gossamer remain associated with your Journey. When photo synchronization is enabled, photos may be uploaded to private storage associated with your Gossamer account so they can be accessed from your other signed-in devices.
Gossamer does not intentionally make progress photos publicly accessible or provide a public photo gallery or social profile.
7. Security
Gossamer is designed to limit unnecessary exposure of private Journey information. Security and privacy features may include private user accounts, per-user cloud storage, private photo storage, local device storage, PIN protection, privacy mode, hidden or blurred photo previews, and encrypted backup options.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Skadiworx therefore cannot promise absolute security, but reasonable measures are used to protect information handled by the service.
8. Data Retention
Journey information is retained while necessary to provide Gossamer's features or until you remove the applicable information or request deletion of your account. Information stored only on a device may remain there until removed through Gossamer's local-data controls, application storage is cleared, or the application is removed.
9. Your Choices and Controls
You may choose which information to enter, add or remove photos, edit progress records, use privacy protections, export or back up supported information, remove locally stored information, and delete your Gossamer account and associated cloud data.
10. Account Deletion
If you created a Gossamer account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data. Gossamer provides an in-app deletion control and a web-accessible deletion information page at skadiworx.com/gossamer/delete-account.
11. Children's Privacy
Gossamer is not designed or directed toward children under 13. Skadiworx does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Medical Information and Advice
Gossamer is a personal progress-recording application and is not a medical service. Gossamer does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, determine medication dosages, interpret laboratory results, or replace advice from qualified healthcare professionals.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated as Gossamer changes. The effective date and version will be updated when changes are made. When changes materially affect how Gossamer handles user information, users may be asked to review and acknowledge the updated policy.
